West Block is a 3.5 acre mixed-use site. Developed as an urban village with an active community plaza it integrates seamlessly with the surrounding community and future LRT.
The current residential tower features a fitness centre, indoor/outdoor lounge area, multi-purpose flex room with catering kitchen and even a ‘hotel suite’ where residents can host guests from out of town.
300 West Block is a truly unique mass timber office building unlike anything else available in the Alberta market with it’s beautiful exposed timber structure. This creates an integrated mixed use site that is a destination for both residents, tenants and visitors from around the region.
Future phases on the existing project site will include an additional purpose built high-rise apartment as well as allow for the inclusion of family-style townhouse units, some smaller condominiums to accommodate entry level and downsizing residential markets.
There is also a senior’s component under consideration that would potentially include independent living and assisted care options. This creates a truly diversified and inclusive community that will be a beacon for Edmonton for decades to come.
